Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Bologna to sign highly-rated left-back Aaron Hickey this summer.
The Scotland international has made a good impression in Serie A this campaign, but it appears he could be on the move soon.
The 19-year-old has been on the Gunners’ radar for several months, and CalcioNapoli24 claims that they have now agreed a fee.
The north London giants are set to pay between €21-25m for the teenager, who has registered five goals and one assist this campaign.
Hickey is set to become the second Bologna player to join the Gunners following the arrival of Takehiro Tomiyasu last summer.
Meanwhile, Hickey’s signing could pave the way for the departure of Nuno Tavares, who has had a difficult debut season in England.
The Portuguese has looked out of depth particularly with his defending, and could be sent out on loan domestically to improve himself.
A permanent exit could also be on the cards for the right price.
