Everton looking into deals for Spurs duo

Everton have identified Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Winks and Dele Alli as potential targets for the January transfer window.

The Toffees had a productive summer where they were able to bolster their midfield with the additions of Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Rodriguez.

Still, Carlo Ancelotti is keen on adding more quality options to the squad and Football Insider claims that he has his sights on signing Spurs out-of-favour duo.

Winks and Alli have lost their starting spots under Jose Mourinho this term and both have failed to make the matchday squad in the Premier League in recent games.

The Toffees are unlikely to afford permanent deals for either player, but it is suggested that they may propose a temporary move for one of the them at the turn of the year.

Elsewhere, Spurs third-choice goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga is also attracting interest from Ancelotti. England international Jordan Pickford has been under scrutiny this term for his susceptible shot-stopping.
