UFC Fight Night – Marvin Vettori vs. Kevin Holland –

Just 21 days after suffering a momentum-stalling defeat, Kevin Holland will step right back into the Octagon on Saturday afternoon and take on Marvin Vettori in the middleweight main event of a matinee UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

The main card at the UFC’s Apex facility will be broadcast on ABC, starting at 3 p.m. ET, and the prelims will be on ESPN at noon. All of the fights also will be available on ESPN Deportes and ESPN+.

Holland (21-6) had won five fights in a row, four of them by knockout, before being dominated by Derek Brunson in a unanimous decision loss on March 20. He’s wasting no time before trying to get back on track, jumping at this short-notice opportunity.

Vettori (16-4-1) was originally scheduled to fight Darren Till, but the British fighter pulled out of the bout last week after breaking his collarbone in training. Vettori has won four fights in a row and is No. 8 in the ESPN middleweight rankings.

Also on the card is the return of strawweight Nina Nunes, fighting for the first time since June 2019. Ranked ninth at 115 pounds by ESPN, Ansaroff took time away from the sport to have a baby, giving birth last September. Ansaroff faces Mackenzie Dern.

And Jim Miller will make his UFC-record 37th appearance in the Octagon, taking on lightweight Joe Solecki. Miller, 37, has lost two of his past three fights. Solecki has won five in a row, with his most recent two in the UFC.
